January/February Favorites

Happy Friday all! It’s been a while, right? I promise, I didn’t forget about you. I‘ve just been crazy busy and trying to balance everything I have going on, but it’s all a working progress.  I didn’t have a ton a favorites for January or February so decided to combine them:

Self Made Palette | Anastasia Beverly Hills
I love this palette! I purchased this palette in the beginning of January because it’s a limited edition. There are a variety of colors - ranging from neutrals to statement colors - that are so amazingly pigmented. My favorite color on the palette is Deep Purple hands down. The shadows blend well together and doesn’t cause the annoying creasing. The packaging is adorable and comes with a great dual-ended brush. Again, this palette is a limited edition so you might be able to catch it on Amazon, Ebay, etc.

Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo, Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner, Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie, Coconut & Hibiscus Frizz-Free Curl Mousse | Shea Moisture
In January, I decided to take a break from my extensions and rock my natural hair. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Shea Moisture brand. I must say - my hair LOVES it too! I used all the products above - except the conditioning milk. My hair was soft and moisturized. My curls were defined but not hard like I had put gel in my hair. Coconut is so healthy for your hair too so you really can’t go wrong using these products. I recently got it hair extensions so I also use these products on them to keep them as healthy and long lasting as possible.

Empire Girls on iTunes
Those who know me know that I adore Adrienne Bailon. Her show with her bestie, Julissa Bermudez - who is also obsessed with beauty products - was one of my favs. Empire shows the hustle and bustle side of the industry. It’s not all glitz and glam, you have to put in the work - and I respect them about them both. They are trying to balance the hustle with their friends, dating, and personal struggles. It’s like a daytime talk show meets The Devil Wears Prada. If you feel a little down in your career and need some motivation to get off your ass - watch Empire girls!

LUSH Masks
I went to LUSH for the first time to try their face mask. I worked at the mall on and off since I was a teenager and I have never been to LUSH - I know right, I’m insane. I tried a couple of their mask. I bought the Brazened Honey and Don’t Look At Me. All Of their masks were made of natural food and products so it has to be refrigerated.

Black Opium Perfume | YSL
I finally got my hands on this high recommended perfume. I remember when I seen the ad and scent tester in a magazine a while ago, I was obsessed with it so much that I saved it and put it in my lingerie drawer. Black Opium is a very light and seductive fragrance - which is why I wear it for date nights or just a night on the town. It’s a combo of some of my favorite scents - coffee, vanilla, and flowers. Black Opium gives me a young, vibrant and sensual feel.
