I absolutely love this palette! I’ve never really been big on eye
shadows but this definitely changed my mind. The shadows are pigmented and
shows up beautifully yet subtle on my skin tone. Even though was it was a
little pricey, I can honestly say I have used every single shadow, so it was
worth it. I now use this in my everyday makeup routine.
If you follow me on Snapchat or Twitter, you
know I have a new love for candles - I snap and tweet about them all the time.
I heard about the Volupsa brand through Taz’s Angels - they recommended it on
their social media. I must say, I am obsessed with my new candle and the brand!
Voluspa candles are made of coconut wax that are in specially designed glass
holders that can be used again when the candle completely burns - or at least I
will. They are long lasting candle with unique scents - not just the
standard vanilla or linen type of scents. The 16 oz. candle has a 100-hour burn
time. The “Yashioka Gardenia” is my go-to scent for my bedroom. It has a
soft yet floral scent that is definitely a mood changer. I have couple on my
list I want to get next.

A heeled over-the-knee boot under $200, of
course I had to purchase this! “Gorgeous” was so hard to find because it’s
identical to the “Highland” by Stuart Weitzman boot which is retailed at
almost $800 - Kourtney Kardashian
is rocking the “Highland” in the photo above. I love my super comfy alternative choice. My favorite thing about
this boot is the suede material instead the typical tall, leather boot. I think
it makes it more chic - tall leather boots can off trashy to me. The one
downfall about this boot is that it runs extremely big. Other than that, this
one of my favorite purchases this month.
Finding
new beauty products is always great. Finding new beauty products that WORK is
even better. My pores were feeling super clogged and I wanted a mask to just deep
cleanse my face. Freeman is a great drugstore brand. I have a few other masks
by this brand that works really well, too. I love Freeman’s line of facial
masks which all under $5!
Hello, my name is Krista and I am addicted to new office supplies!
Getting a new planner is major motivation to get organized for the New Year.
These adorable planners have matching notebooks and calendars too. I have HUGE
handwriting so extra space in this planner comes in handy. Along with the extra
lines on the weekly pages, there are additional “Notes” lines - I use them to
list my goals for the week. Paper Sugar is very affordable so I also bought a
wall calendar.
Starter Kit | Real Techniques
Like I said earlier, I was never into eye makeup until I bought my MAC Warm Neutral Palette. I needed some eye shadow brushes to use to learn new techniques . Turns out, I like these brushes better than a couple of MAC brushes I have. They pick up product really well and come with a nice travel case and stand for when you'e on the go.
